Web Conferencing - What You Need
1. High speed internet connection.
2. A web cam that is compatible with the program Skype.
Make sure a microphone is included with the web cam. You can pick
one up at any electronics store such as Circuit City, Best Buy, etc.
Creative and Logitech are 2 examples of the brand names. I have
Creative Live! Cam Vista IM. The cost is between $25 to $100.00 for
the web cam. Loading it on your computer is pretty simple. Just load
the disc and follow the directions.
3. Skype program
Once the web cam is loaded on your computer you will need to
download Skype at http://www.skype.com
This program is free to download and free to use with other Skype
users. Just follow the directions and you should be up and running
in a few minutes. You will need to create a Skype username. Add my
Skype name to your contact list which is aaron-brooks
Once you complete the two steps we will be ready to communicate
real time just like our in house office visits. We will be able to see
and hear each other just as we were talking face to face. I will be
able to evaluate you from my computer and instruct you on what
to do and how to perform each exercise. This program allows me
to communicate with all of my valued clients from anywhere in the
country and world.
