noticed that her pelvic rotation was much better. The body is such an amazing machine and it is very common that it will meet you halfway. In other words, it will immediately respond to corrective action in some measurable way. But to make certain I had Trish test her hip and she said she definitely felt an improvement in range of motion. She was so excited that she kept pushing off harder with her right foot to really test the hip.

Although I could sympathize with her excitement, I warned her that she was not better yet. Her body was still going to take some time to heal and make permanent pelvic changes. Though I knew she would not take a few games off, I trusted that if she stuck to her prescribed routine of performing my corrective exercise routines prior to every game and practice she would have even more to cheer about.

I am passionate about the services we provide because of results like those that I witnessed with Trish and numerous other professional and collegiate athletes. It is only natural that I wish I could work with all the athletes that have pain and offer them proper guidance. In general it disturbs me to see and hear about people in pain not getting the proper care when I know that there is an alternative. When working with my clients I strive to get to the root of the problem. When you eliminate the cause, the symptoms disappear naturally. Just treating the symptom is like painting over rust. You may hide it for a while, but when it resurfaces there may be very little chance of fixing the damage that’s been done.
